Elizabeth Buzzl Koch, President of the Allen-Lambe House Foundation, is delighted to announce that the Allen-Lambe House Museum and Study Center has received three awards during November 1993 from the following Architectural and Preservation groups.

“it is very gratifying that these groups believe in the preservation of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Allen-Lambe House Museum as much as we do.”

-The Allen-Lambe House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1915 was selected by the Kansas American Institute of Architects (A.I.A.) members as one of the “Ten Best Designed Buildings” in Kansas

-Howard W. Ellington, A.I.A. the restoration architect received a Preservation Award from the Kansas Preservation Alliance for his restoration work on The Allen-Lambe House.

-The Allen-Lambe House Foundation received a Preservation Award from the Kansas Preservation Alliance for the preservation of Wichita Heritage The Founding Trustees of the Allen-Lambe House Foundation are Elizabeth Buzzl Koch and Howard W. Ellington.
